Further Remand And Further Charge
- Anthony Barbarich, Onepu labourer, appeared in the Police Court at Whakatane again on Wednesday on’ remand on the charge of having broken and entered Hamill Bros’ premises with intent to commit a crime therein on August 10. He also faced a fresh charge, the unlawful conversion of Mr P. G. Hammond’s £650 car, which was removed from Hamill’s on August 10 and found at Tauranga next day. ...Barbarich was remanded to October 7 on both charges, and released on bail, self £SO and one surety of £SO.
