Registered Nurses’ Association Meets

This month’s meeting of the Whakatane branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association in St John Ambulance rooms was well attended. Miss Ward, who has recently filled the vacancy caused by the resignation of Miss C. McKay as District Nurse, was amongst the new members welcomed. Mr W. Dreghorn was the guest speaker for the meeting, all members being most interested in his illustrated talk on Astronomy. Afternoon tea concluded a very pleasant afternoon.
