Bright Evening At Edgecumbe

The home of Mr and Mrs L. Martin, Edgecumbe, was the scene of a very bright evening on Saturday, when their many friends gathered to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Mr H. W. Carter, of Edgecumbe, was also a guest of honour, the occasion being his recent birthday. After a very delightful buffet supper had been served, the guests of honour thanked all present for their congratulations, and best wishes. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought a happy evening to a close.
