Housing For State Departments
In his report, incorporated in the annual statement of the Minister of Works, the acting-Director of Housing Construction, Mr R. B. Hammond, states that during the year, the division had undertaken the layout and detailed planning of housing settlements and villages required by the State Forest Service, Public Works Division, State HydroElectric Department, and the Army Department. For the State Forest Service plans were completed covering some 300 units in 11 villages’ and settlements.
