Rotary Committees’ Chairmen Announced

At this week’s gathering of the Whakatane Rotary Club, President Harry Warren announced the chairmen of the various service committees: International service, Dr E. T. Dawson;'vocational service, C. Hudson; Club service, C. KingsleySmith; . Community service, L.' Buddie. These will select their'own working teams.. Speaker fcpc the evening was Mr W. S. Henderson, who gave a racy discourse on his trip to Fiji with the Maori All Blacks. He showed the- presentation whale’s tooth, and a miniature kava bowl he had received over there. He commented that all who made the trip had felt it was well worth while in the goodwill it had built between the Fijiians and the Maoris, as well as having been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
