Importance Of Fats
Fats are highly concentrated energy or “full” foods —much more so than sugar which is also bad for the teeth. Fats do for us much what oil and petrol together do for a motor car. Did. you know that fats lubricate our digestive system and in using them the system generates the warmth and energy which enables our bodies to move, work and play? That fat is also turned into a firm cushion to protect vital organs? Certain fats also contain the valuable vitamins A and D, which vitamins respectively help to guard you from infections and to make for strong bones and teeth. It does not matter in what form these fats are eaten, they will have the same value. Fish in oil contain these, vital vitamins—such as herrings, sardines and salmon.
