Druids ' Indoor Bowls Competition

On Monday evening the first games were played by members of the Druids’ Dodge, Whakatane, for a set of four Silver Buttons recently presented by the District President Bro. H. C. Phillips. Winners for the evening were:— Sisters W. Rivett and S. Ruffles and Bros. J. D. Rivett and M. Gillard. Indoor bowls have been a popular feature of the social side of Lodge meetings in the past, and it is the intention of the Lodge to issue invitations to 'various local social committees to take part in friendly games in the near future.
