Parking Experiment
This week an experiment in parallel parking has. been started in the Strand from the Union Bank corner to Mussett and Littlejohn’s. The idea works 'well so far as easing congestion in the roadway is concerned, but is not altogether convenient for motorists as it cuts the parking accommodation considerably in one of the busiest parts of the town. Moreover, as it is an allday parking area, “permanent’s” take up a lot of the available space. s
