A. & P. Society’s New Officers Elected
. The annual meeting of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki A. and P. Society on Friday night elected the following officers:— Patron, Mr W. Sullivan, M.P.; president, Mr lan B. Gow; vice-presi-dents, Messrs L. S. Berg and A. R. McGougan; treasurer, Mr F. B. Cutler; executive committee, the president, . vice-presidents, treasurer, Mesdames G. W. Bennett, E. Hill and S. G. Ker, Messrs G. R. Yeoman, W. R. Boon, J. E. Rae, W. C. Roberts, W. Thompson, P. Woolfield, L. W. Luxton, Eric Hill, J. Bryant, A. L. Richardson, H. Hill, A. Torrje, A. Stewart, J. Dunstan, L. King, R. Ruddick, A. Hall, L. H. Brown, E. R. Hunt, W. A. McCracken, Neil Reid, H. G. Warren*, R. Corcoran, G. Fogarty, A. K. Prince, S. G. Kor, A. F. Barwell, W. G. Howat, H. Watkins, F. R. Looney, John Hawken, T. E. Brassey, Alan Jijmith, B. McMahon, with power to add; auditor, \ Mr C. A. Head. The existing women’s committee, comprising representatives and delegates from the numerous women’s organisations throughout the district was re-appointed. Four new members of the Society were elected, Messrs D. H. Shaw, A. W. Jones, J. A- § ax an & Eric Emory.
