Druids 500 Evening First of a series of flag 500 evenings organised by the Druids Lodge takes place tonight at the Parish Hall, and the sponsors hope for a good attendance, not only of Lodge members, but all card enthusiasts. —P.B.A. Edgecumbe Card Evening The usual fortnightly flag 500 card evening arranged by the Edgecumbe Pareftt-Teacher Association, was held at the school recently. There was an excellent attendance of players. Prize winners: Women, Mrs Seabourne, men, Mr A. Marx; Booby prizes, Mrs Quayle and Mr Dines. Orange Price Down The Minister of Marketing, Mr Cullen, has announced that the recent alteration in the exchange rate had enabled a reduction of 2d per lb in the retail price of imported oranges to be made. The new price of 9d per lb became effective on Monday.
