Excuse, Please!
We know we’ve missed the odd dance and sports result of late. There hasn’t, been a reporter at some of the meetings of local organisations. It hurts us to give any less service than we feel we should, but just now we have no reporter, and the Editor caimot be at more than one place at one time. It would be a big help if sports bodies, social committees and others who have any infortion worth publishing would pass it on—while it’s fresh. We want all local and district citizens to feel that this is THEIR paper, here to serve them and to help them. We ask them to help us make it so, by bringing us LIVE NEWS. Please don’t think we’re not likely to be interested in YOUR interests. We are.' That’s why we’re in this business.
