APPEAL FOR LEPERS

Sir, —May I trespass on your space to remind your numerous readers of our 8,500 sick brothers and sisters, sufferers from leprosy and tropical diseases in the Islands close to New Zealand. The hand of affliction lies heavily, upon them. They are isolated and many are separated from families and friends and need our sympathy and help. All donations of cash or goods will be acknowledged by me personally and no gift is too small for our family is large. The address “Leper Man,” Christchurch, will find me. With gratitude for your assistance in the past. Yours etc., P. J. TWOMEY-, Secy., Lepers’ Trust .Board.
