By Rule Of Mum
Mrs Edward Girard fined her husband £25 each time he forgot her morning or evening kiss. Girard complained in the •.Divorce Court at Cleveland (Ohio) that it was impossible to obey the 14 rules his wife had laid down for him. His wife, 34, claimed that his best friend was “an evil influence,” and ordered Girard to give him up. After a domestic squabble Mrs Girard forbade her husband to go to his mother’s home. Rule 14 prohibited Girard from making love to his wife for one week after infringement of any of the other 13 rules.
