Talented Pianist
Dorothy Thompson, young daughter .ofMr W. J. R. Thompson, of Edgecumbe, has added further laurels to her record as a pianist of talent with a series of \ successes at the Cambridge competitions festival recently completed. She and Judith Jensen, of Awakeri, won first place as piano duettists under 13. Dorothy won the solo under 12, came second in the solo under 10, and competed in tfie. solo under 14. The Adjudicator remarked that she showed undoubted talent. - 0
