Te Teko W.D.F.F.
The monthly- W.D.F.F. meeting was held recently in the-. Te Teko Domain. Mrs Harty presided over a good attendance. It was decided to give £5 to the expenses of “Scotlands” (the W.D.F.F. Rest Home at Auckland) and £5 to Provincial Funds. The birthday party was postponed to October 12, when it will be held in the Te Teko Hall. Mrs S. Cannell, as Provincial delegate, gave a most interesting and comprehensive report on the Domin- „ ion Conference, and, .at the conclusion of her address, she was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. Mrs Briggs was welcomed as a pew member by Mrs Harty. . / A mystery, parcel, given by Mrs Pryor,..was worr by Mrs Meridl. Competition winners were:— Best bloom: Mrs : Minchin I,'Mrs Watson 2. Jar of flowers: Mrs Jamieson 1, Mes.dames Hallett, Mmchin and Butler 2, equal. • Afternoon - tea . served by Mesdames Linsell and Watson concluded a pleasant afternoon.
