French Use Of Wool For Furnishing And Decorating
Interesting use, of wool fabrics in upholstery is seen in the “Salons des Artistes Decorateprs” which opened in Paris last month. Chairs are covered with wool fabrics in two shades—a bright blue may be used for the seats and an attractive yellow for the arms and piping. Wool curtains, wool covered sofas and, of course, wool carpets, all go to show that France’s supplies of wool are improving says the New Zealand Wool Board news service, and the interior decorafors hav } e ..only been waiting for' this to take up wool as a furnishing fabric “de luxe.”
