Newer “New Look”
Watch for the new shoe styles and for the black, burgundy and emerald green sheer silk stockings that are making their appearance in spring shows. Ankle straps and exceedingly high heels are already being worn by some of the mdre venturesome and those prepared to brave the cold, but the black sheer stockings come as a shock to most people. Bootee types of choes are favoured and are ideal for rough weather, but they do not suit everyone.
