Popular Taneatua Couple Farewelled

A very delightful dance was held in the Taneatua Hall to farewell Mr and Mrs E. Le Heron, sponsored by the Young Farmers’ Club, of which Mr Le Heron was the president, the Junction was well-attended by friends of the popular young couple. Dance music was provided by Mr A. Wardlaw and Mr G. Grey. A Monte Carlo was won by Mr J. and Miss A. Downes., After a very delicious supper had been dispensed, Mr J. O’Brien, the - new president of the Y.F.C., expressed the regret of all those pre- . sent at hte departure of Mr and Mrs * Le Heron from the district and wished them every prosperity and happiness in their new home at Morrins- ; ville. He then presented Mrs Le Heron with a week-end bag and Mr Le ,» Heron 1 with a leather suitcase. Mr Le Heron suitably replied.
