Mr D. Dawson returned to Opotiki on Friday after a short stay in Whakatane. Messrs S. Carter and P. CQmiskey returned to Whakatane on Thursday after a short business trip to Opotiki. Mrs J. E. Winstone, of Landing Road, Whakatane, left for Dunedin on Saturday to attend the annual general meeting of the Dominion Council of the New Zealand Red Cross Society.
