Last Thursday evening, a good attendance of friends of Mr and Mrs Les Addison were present at a gift evening held in the Waimana Hall. The guests were married recently. Mr and Mrs M. King supplied the music, and Mr R. Syverston acted as M.C. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs Les Robertson, and the Lucky Gay Gordons by Mrs Sterling and Mr Vic Addison. After a delicious home-made supper, Mr N. JPattie asked the guests to accept gifts' - from all present, with their best wishes. Mrs Addison, he continued, had been infant mistress at Waimana for over , three years. The speaker concluded by wishing them both all the best on the farm at Opotiki.
