A number of the cows are in calf to Cloverfields Vagabond, son of the great cow Barton Bangle V.H.C., C.O.R. 570 lbs fat, who was by the celebrated Vagabond of Oaklands (Imp) C B B MERRILAND FOR PRODUCTION Merriland Twinkle, C.O.R. 798 lbs fat, Special Gold Medallist, a cow tested by Messrs L. Hill and Son, Manurewa, was purchased by them at the 1845 sale for 22 gns. Last season 109 cows produced over 32,000 lbs fat factory returns on rolling country. Light Luncheon Provided.
