Mrs T. Miller, of Awakeri, returned home yesterday after a short holiday in Hamilton. Mr and Mrs A. Hick, of Hamilton, spent the week-end with the latter’s parents, Mr and Mrs E. Wilson, of Ohope. Dr R. McMakin, Ruakura State farm, and Professor J. Riddett, Massey Agricultural College, visited the Commercial . Hotel, Whakatane, last week. They inspected local farm, lands, were conducted over the Paper Mills and visited Ohope Beach. They le'ft here on Sunday.
