Elsie and Doris Waters are veryproud of their brother Jack, who changed his name to avoid cashing in on their fans. Their pride is justified. Demobbed in 1919, Jack went back to motor engineering, took up motor racing, switched to salesmanship and in his spare time went in for cabaret entertaining. He was so good at it that he gave up the motor business for the work he liked best. It was a struggle, rewarded by success and fame as a radio comedian. Still a very popular comedian, Jack Warner is fast establishing a new reputation—as a serious screen character actor. He will be seen in the Eagle-Lion film “It Always Rains On Sunday.” BEF.
