“Push-Button” Bidding
. A Dutch manufacturer of electric dial clock installations for auction rooms has asked the International Wool Secretariat for addresses of firms responsible for wool auctions. It is believed, says the New Zealand Wool Board news service, that the firm has in mind a system of “pushbutton” bidding for auction sales to replace the shouting and gesticulating which has always been a feature of wool auctions.
