Farewell To Popular Scout Supporter

In view of their coming transfer to Lumsden in the South Island Mr and Mrs D. McLeay were the guests of a group of Scouting enthusiasts at the home of Mr and Mrs C. Zinsli recently. Mr McLeay, who has served on the Scout Committee for the past four years was given a smoker’s companion plus the good wishes of the party which were conveyed in suitable terms by the chairman, Mr C. Zinsli. The County Commissioner also spoke, praising the splendid service which Mr McLeay had always given the Scouting fraternity. Mr McLeay thanked all for the gift and good wishes.
