Ballot for Sections
A ballot took place at last week’s meeting of the Whakatane Rehabilitation Committee to decide the ownership of four building sections in James Street which were set aside for purchase by returned servicemen. The ballot was conducted by the Chairman of the Committee (Mr B. S. Barry) in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Officer, Rotorua, and resulted as follows: Section 442 (32 pers), T. H. Morgan; Section 443 (32 pers), F. W. G. Hutchens; Section 444 (66 pers), C. O. J. Carey and Section 445 (60 pers) E. E. A. Gillgren.
