BY THE WAY!
Sir, —Senator Glen Taylor “Democrat” (New York , February 23, 1948) said: Wall Street and the military, have taken over. And Senator Robert Taft, Republican candidate for the Presidency, says that “all Governments are moving towards freezing wages" as advocated by President Truman and his adviser, Barney Baruch. Once more the finger points^to the control by the international financier in national 5 to the detriment of those nations controlled.
It was Mr Hazlitt who, referring, to the King of Corsica who died an, exile in Soho, 1756, wrote: “The Grave, great teacher tp a level brings! Heroes and Beggers, GalleySlaves and Kings; But Theodore this moral learned, ere dead: Bestow’d a Kingdom; and denied him bread.”
We should learn from the above that while we "are under control of Governments, and not the “State” (the body politic), those governments ruled by foreign finance, are refusing the economic rights of a free people, placing the nation under despotic rule. Party politics keep the Nation divided for power politics. That will lead to power under military dictatorship, Wall Street taking over! Erebus the son of Chaos, is rising his ugly head, urged on by the international gang, and what are we doing about it? Is it that in sloth we are prepared to fiddle, as the nation-is dying under financial intrigue? Or is it that frustration has made us dumb beasts? Or is it that economic freedom long deferred, has sapped the nation’s vitality. Local autonomy of money, matters would automatically dissolve the international money monopoly. Present plans demand the sovereignty of an international and irresponsible, authority.
Yours etc., * W. BRADSHAW.
