New Drama And Glee Club Holds Social Afternoon

The first of a series of monthly social afternoons conducted by the Drama and Glee Club of l!he Wai-mana-Nukuhou W. 1., was held in the Waimana Hall last Wednesday. A short humorous sketch was read by Mrs Stevenson and Miss A. White and acted by Mrs Stansbury. Mrs J. Boynton sang a Maori song entitled “Pokare Kare,” and “September in the Rain,’ most sweetly, and the Glee Club members sang several part songs and gave Choral items.
