Hay For Drought Areas

Urgent inquiries are being made to ascertain whether large quantities of hay can be made available by the Bay of Plenty to those areas badly affected by droughts. Also, farmers who have hay available now are being urged to offer it, through stock agency firms or the Department of Agriculture, for despatch to the Wairarapa where it is urgently needed.
