A resolution asking the Government to remit the fines imposed on carpenters’ leaders during the recent go-slow policy in the building trade was moved by Mr R. Stanley, national secretary of the N.Z. Carpenters and Joiners’ Union at the Federation of Labour conference. It was carried on the voices.
