Everyman’s Tent Still Popular: Mr Graham’s Lecture On Judgment
Good numbers are still attending Mr Graham’s special meetings in the Everyman’s Tent. On Sunday evening an intent audience listened to Mr Graham speak on “Where are the Dead?” At the conclusion Mrs Te Hira Fergusson very sweetly rendered the Consecration hymn. Tonight at 7.45 p.m. Mr Graham will continue his talks on “Where are the Dead. Has Man a Soul? If the saved are already in Heaven why will there be a Resurrection?” On Thursday at the same hour his subject will be “Spiritualism—is it of God or the Devil?” All aire welcome, to attend.
“We reap what we sow,” said Mr C. ’C. Graham, when speaking on the “Judgment” in the Everyman’s Tent, Whakatane, recently. “If a man is foolish enough to put his fingers in the fire he will be burnt; poison likewise will kill. The nations of the world also .demand judgment and have instituted legal systems, magistrates and court houses. They demand the punishment of the law-breaker. It is not therefore, unreasonable that God should also judge those who have broken His laws and come short of his glory (Rom. 2, 23). Christ Himself will be the Judge (Acts 17, 31) and none will escape for He is Omnipresent—present when sinners break the law of God. Omniscient —perfect ih knowledge and knows all about us. Omnipotent —all powerful, none' shall escape him as is sometimes the case in our lands and courts. .
