Rev. F. J. Climo, ’’Minister of the Whakatane Methodist Church, left this morning to attend a Synod meeting at Rotorua. He will be back on Friday. Mr W. McMiken and Mr L. Watkins left Whakatane for Auckland yesterday on the last leg of a tour round New Zealand. Mrs E. Wilson, of Ohope, accompanied by her youngest son, left Whakatane on Sunday for Auckland, via Hamilton. She is expected to return on May 21. Miss M. Vant, of Te Puke, who has been on holiday at Ohope accompanied by Miss N. Wilson, left Whakatane yesterday en route for Massey Agricultural College where they will resume their studies.
