Popular Edgecumbe Girl Marries: Clark—Ferguson Wedding Last Saturday

The crowd that assembled at All Saints Church, Edgecumbe, on Saturday testified to the popularity of the bride, Nancy Ferguson, second daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Ferguson, of Edgecumbe, who was married by the Reverend J. C. J. Wilson to Mr Cecil Clark of Waimate, South Island.

The bride, in a charming frock of white net and lace, carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Miss May Black, who' attended the bride, wore a very pretty frock of pale blue Chinese silk marquisette with a bouquet of autumn tones. Little Shirley Scott, flower girl, wore a frilled frock of pihk net, a Juliet cap and carried a posy of flowers to tone. -

After the ceremony the. guests were entertained by Mr and "Mrs Ferguson in the Edgecifmbe Hall. In the late afternoon the guests assembled at the home of the bride’s parents to send the happy couple, who were travelled north by car, on their way. The bride wore a smart navy suit of teal and wine, with accessories to match.
