“The Hon. W. Nash comes from the heart of association football, Kidderminster, and even our Prime Minister .(the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) used to play for the< watersiders,” said Mr J. E. Jones, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Football Association when speaking in support of -the nomination of Mr Nash as president. Mr Nash was elected president after the sitting president (Sir Ernest Davis) had also been nominated.
