Positive Poliomyelitis Case From Edgecumbe
A woman from Edgecumbe, about 30 years old, who was admitted to the district Hospital, Whakatane, last week, has been diagnosed as a positive case of poliomyelitis and has been transferred to the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. Dr. E. T. Dawson, medical superintendent at the Hospital, said this morning that no further suspected cases had been reported to him in this district.
