If India is to occupy a place in the industrial world the aim should be to reach within the next ten years at least the level attained by the glass industries in nther countries. The Panel on Glas* Industries appointed by the Government of India which makes this observation, adds, “Indeed, glass is today one of the triumvirate of modern industrial material—the other two being steel and rubber.”
