Herd Improvement Assn. Figures Continue To Show Increased Average

Though a very dry month the Bay of Plenty and East Coast Herd Improvement Association’s figures for February show a marked improvement on the same month last year; the number of actual cows under the Association’s scheme has also increased considerably. The figures for February 1947 were, cows under test 35,782 with an average of 281bs of fat. The figures for the same month this year are as follows:
