Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club’s Competition Shoot: Last Saturday’s Results
The Rangitaiki Rifle Club fired the first competition for Moore’s / Trophy last Saturday. Conditions were seven shots at 290 and 300 yadrs. The weather was showery but did not prevent some good scores i being put on. L. Davies made the possible at 300 yards. Newton just missed the possible by putting in an. inner last shot at the 200. The next trophy shoot will be held on May 8, there will be a practice shoot tomorrow. Saturday’s scores in detail:— ’ P. Mayo 31 at 20©yds, 30 at 300 yds, handicap 12, total 70; P. Newton 32, 34, 3, 69; W. Mayo 31, 33, 5, 69; N. Mayo 30, 25, 14, 69.; B. Reich*rdt 29, 29, 10, 68; L. Davies 32, 35, scr, 67; W. Moore 31, 33, 2, 66; P. Me Gill an 31, 31, 4, 66; S. Pearse 31, 30, 4, 65; V. Green .29, 32, 4, 6.4; R. Burgess 31, 27, 5, 63; R. Baguley 31, 25, 6, 62; C. Penny 29, 33, scr, 62; A. Moore 30, 23, 5, 58.
