Gutter Registrations

Customers who wish to transfer their butter registrations to another grocer may do so during the fortnight from Monday, April 19. Normally, customers are permitted to transfer their butter registrations at two periods during the rationing year. A change may be made when the ration book is issued at the end of October, and also halfway through the rationing year. Customers may transfer their registrations at any time if they leave their previous home and move more than three miles to another locality. Otherwise transfers of registrations, except at the two periods mentioned, are not granted unless there are sound reasons for making a change.
