Minister Of Health’s Visit To Whakatane
The Minister of Health, Miss M. Howard, travelling from Gisborne via East Coast Bays and Opotiki paid a brief visit to Whakatane yesterday afternoon and spent last night at Tauranga. On a tour of the East Coast Health district, Miss Howard had inspected hospital facilities at Te Puia and Opotiki after leaving Gisborne. She inspected the district Hospital here and had a brief conference with Hospital Board representatives.
