V. Green Wins Final Shoot In Rangitaiki Rifle Club’s Competition

The Rangitaiki Rifle Club fired the third and final competition for a trophy presented by the club recently. V. Green won with an aggregate score of 140. P. McGillan was 2nd with 140, F. Reichardt 138 and L. Davies ,scr, 137. A feature of the shooting was the fine score made by L. Davies. He only dropped one point out of a possible of 70. -

The next trophy will be held on April 17 when the first competition for a prize presented by ; W. Moore will be fired. A practice shoot will be held on April 24 to prepare teams to represent the club at the Bay of Plenty Rifle Association meeting on the King’s Birthday. Scores:—

Saturday’s Practice Shoot Under Good Conditions 'The Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club held a practice shoot last Saturday. The weather was fine with a light westerly wind blowing.
