Dear Sir,
Letters to the Editor must be clearly written on one side of the paper only and where a nom-de-plume is used the name of the writer must be included for reference purposes. The Editor reserves the right to abridge, amend or withhold any letter or letters. WHITHER BOUND, HUMANITY Sir, —Mr P. Mora in his letter to the paper recently asked what’s the meaning of all we see? Layman in his letter asks, Whither Bound You and Me? Are they, along with many others in this country and, for that matter, all over the world, blind to the meaning of all that is going on in the world today? Can they not see that the monied interests of the world, namely the-direct controllers of the Capitalist countries see a direct threat to their money making in another form of government needs thinking people to operate-it, a thing that they have always kept down and considered as wrong. .Wrong that a man of any standing should think and like to know how his country is being run and- how by his thinking and assisting in its running he can improve his Ipt and the lot of his children?
Mr Mora arid Layman are just a few of the countless millions who are being led along by the nose by the powerful controlling Capitalist minority to believe that' the Communist, and therefore the Russian, way of government is one of bondage and fear. Has Mr Mora or Layman ever tried to find out why the Communist way (or even the Russian way, which is definitely not Communist) are so bad as to need complete and utter extermination?
No! They have heard Mr Winston Churchill and Mr Truman and a few of the Capitalist papers arid our own executive of the R.S.A. say that it is wicked. So they are quite prepared to believe it and condemn it without any thought at all. Yes, you will say that the papers have given vivid accounts f of the wicked system and i say that if the world was to know pf some of the wicked things that have been perpetrated in the name-of Capitalist democracy people would be just as forceful in denouncing Capitalism as wicked but these things are all kept under cover. If Mr Mora and Layman stopped and thought a bit instead of being easily led along by the frightened so-called leaders of the world they would see that they are bound for a Fascist bondage of the worst type and not for a world of peace and plenty as they are wanted to; believe. . Thinking and not a Communist witch-hunt is the only answer to the world’s troubles. Yours etc., SICKENED.
