Everyman’s Gospel Tent Coming To Whakatane

The Christian body who. sponsored the popular Everyman’s Huts during the war has erected a large Gospel Tent on the corner of Domain Road and Francis Street. It will no doubt create wide interest in the district, particularly among exservicemen who will recall the homely atmosphere of “Everymans” when in camp. Mr C. C. Graham the noted Bible lecturer is accompanying the Tent and will give up-to-the-minute addresses illustrated by large charts. He will also show educational and religious films to children.

The grand opening night -is tonight at 7.45 when Mr Graham will speak on the momentous subject, “Can the present Chaos continue—what did Christ, say would happen?” This will be preceded by 15 minutes’ bright singing. -
