Following are the best scores in the Whakatane Golf Club’s opening day Canadian foursome played last Saturday: Mr and Mrs T. W. Burke, 91, 23-2-, 67k; I- Wylds and Miss M. Robins, 78, 8, 70; R. J. Official -starting time is 9 a.m., and, to relieve congestion on the tees, players should commence play as early as possible. Placing on fairways will be continued until further notice.
