Circus Coming To Whakatane This Week

Most entrancing, captivating, alluring, fascinating and attractive of all entertainments is the circus. Sole Bros, coming here this week, is the most popular of them all with the surging of the crowds and the roar of the animals, the glamorous girls, champion expert horsemanship, the daring aerial stars, and the amazing feats of the elephants. Youngsters of all ages marvel at the .sight, children frankly admit they are crazy about Sole’s Circus, while their elders sometimes confess they go just to take the youngsters.

But the truth remains thcrt nearly everybody is fascinated almost beyond resistance by its lure, .and remember the thrills of their first circus. The sawdust ring, the blaring and the glaring lights get into the blood and they become young again.

Coming by special fleet of vehicles conveying more than 126 tons of circus gear, animals, horses, ponies and elephants, which are all transported on the largest fleet of circus lorries in Australasia, Solo Bros.’ Circus will be in Te Teko tomorrow and at Whakatane on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sole Bros, is now the only circus that travels the whole Commonwealth, Tasmania, New Zealand and South Africa.
