Poland Exports To All Europe: Total Value Of Sixty Million Dollars
“Poland today trades with all parts of Europe and the world and sends her products to 26 countries in Europe and adjacent territories,” said the Minister for Industry, M. Hilary Mine. “Polish textiles are now going to England and France. Polish potatoes to Western Germany and ham and eggs to England. Through our production of coal and food to keep people warm, provide essential energy and power and feed them we can best help all parts of Europe and' accelerate Polish reconstruction.”
The Polish ship Lublin has left Gdynia with 658 tons of woollen and cotton textiles and bacon for Britain. Britain has also just received shipments of frozen salmon from Poland. Altogether, Poland will export 60 million dollars worth of food this year.
