Murupara-Galatea R.S.A. Wants Overhaul Of Land Sales To Servicemen
The executive of the MuruparaGalatea branch of the R.S.A. has decided to forward a remit to the approaching Dominion Conference of the Association urging that exservicemen settling on balloted Crown land and first working on wages for a year, should be given full particulars of land and stock valuations as soon as these are determined, and not, as is generally the case, some months after their year is up and they are committed to buy at an unknown value. The annual general meeting of the. branch has been fixed for May 16, when in addition to other business dates will be settled for the Association’s smoke concert and for a ball.
