Local Boxers Invited To Appear In Auckland

Paul;' were invited to appear in the preliminary bouts to the Stevens-Clingham fight held recently in the Auckland Town Hall, but owing to the very short period of training the boys have had, the instructors, Messrs. R. Singer and W. Schmelz decided to refuse. "This invitation was the result of the excellent standard of boxing and sportsmanship shown by the club last year in all its bouts with other clubs," said Mr Singer.
