Tauranga Wins Bay Of Plenty Champion's Shield
The Bay of Plenty champion shield competition between Rifle Clubs situated in the Bay area and including Waihi, Rotorua and Reparoa was held on the Thornton range on March 17. Tauranga won with a score of 608, Rangitaiki second with 599 and Rotorua third with 510.
Davies of Rangitaiki made top score for the day. At the conclusion of the day a meeting was held to decide where future shooting would be held.
