Tauranga Railwaymen Support Prime Minister

Support for the action of the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser in dealing with the recent industrial disputes, has been voiced by the Tauranga branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. At what was stated to be a wellattended meeting of the branch, including the attendance of members from Matata and Paengaroa, it was decided to send a telegram to the Prime Minister, the tepct of which is as follows: — "The Tauranga branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants unanimously supports the Prime Minister's attitude and judgment in the present industrial unrest."
